About Us

BinaryHeart is a student-governed organization that aims to spread digital access. We collect broken or used electronic devices and repair them. Through IU Surplus and partners, we re-donate those devices to low-income schools. Check out the press page to see what we‘ve done!

Jack Wilber

IU Chapter Founder & President

Hey, I'm Jack! I'm a sophomore at Indiana. I loved BinaryHeart's mission and decided to bring it to IU. I want to help students in the Bloomington area have the internet access they need to succeed in their academic ventures. In my free time, I like to invest and experiment with AI and LLM models.

Web Development & Chapter Coordinator

Hi, I’m Megan! I’m a senior at New Trier High School and one of the executive leaders at the New Trier chapter of BinaryHeart. I work on the website for both chapters. I also coordinate between the chapters, and I've helped with the founding of BinaryHeart IU. Fun fact, I love caesar salads.
